The Brooklyn Nets have been in a bit of a rut as they’ve lost five of their last eight games overall, but they will be eager to build some momentum in this one after arresting a four-game skid with a 117-106 road win over the Jazz on Friday. Kyrie Irving led the team with 48 points, 11 rebounds and six assists, Nic Claxton added 20 points with four blocks on eight of nine shooting while Royce O’Neale chipped in with 13 points and six assists. As a team, the Nets shot 53 percent from the field and 18 of 41 from the 3-point line as they struggled to contain the Jazz in the first half and fell behind six points going into halftime, but they turned to Irving who delivered all throughout the second half to get their season back on track with a much-needed win.
Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been a little inconsistent lately as they’ve lost five of their last eight games overall, but they will be hoping to get on a roll after sneaking past the Cavaliers in a 120-114 road win on Friday. Jordan Poole led the team with 32 points, Ty Jerome added 22 points and eight assists on nine of 13 shooting while Donte DiVincenzo chipped in with 17 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals. As a team, the Warriors shot 48 percent from the field and a sizzling 23 of 43 from the 3-point line as they went back and forth with the Cavaliers in a tight contest, until the third quarter where they exploded for 34 points to lead by as many as 20 points.
Looking at the betting trends, the Nets are 0-4 ATS in their last four Sunday games, 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a win of more than 10 points and 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall. The Warriors are 26-10-1 ATS in their last 37 home games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall.
