There are stores where groceries are free of charge to those in need!
Lovely Sotto, a volunteer at the Pamplona Tres, Las Piñas branch, shared photos of the store packed with necessities such as food items, clothes, soaps, diapers and many more.
Lovely posted the photos on Facebook last Friday and said she can’t help but appreciate the thoughtfulness of those who came to the store.
The store is an initiative of the Members of the Church of God International (MCGI), a Christian religious organization.
According to Lovely, the MCGI free store project was opened to the public after it was initially opened to members of the organization.
The project was globally launched last March. The free store can manage and supply goods in its stores worldwide with the help of the members of the organization, Lovely said.
